| Abstract | If robots are to be social, they will be integrated in our social networks. Indeed, ‘things that tweet’, including robots, are already followed by thousands of people. Robot design for long-term interaction would benefit from exploring what makes (dis)embodied robots that already communicate with people via existing social media engaging. This paper discusses a number of observations on ‘things’ that tweet and check-in. |
